Applying to RMC: 

Freshman – Freshmen applicants have graduated from high school or obtained a GED and are beginning their undergraduate (bachelor's degree) for the first time. Students who have taken college courses prior to high school graduation are considered Freshmen. Freshmen candidates may choose from the following:

• Early Decision - If Randolph-Macon is your first choice and you are confident you will attend if admitted, apply Early Decision (ED). This application plan is binding. If admitted and your aid offer covers your need, you agree to withdraw your applications from all other colleges and universities.
• Early Action - Early Action (EA) is a non-binding application plan. This means you are free to apply to other schools and are under no obligation to commit to Randolph-Macon if admitted. EA offers an earlier admission decision, and you have until May 1 to make your college selection.
• Regular Decision - Regular Decision (RD) is a non-binding application plan, which means you are free to apply to other schools. Choose RD if you missed the EA deadlines and want until May 1 to make your college decision.

Freshman applicants may use the RMC application or the Common Application. There is no application fee. If using the RMC application, simply create an account below and start your application.

Transfer - Students who graduated from high school or obtained their GED and who attended another institution after high school graduation are transfer students. They typically bring completed college credits from their previous institution(s) which may count toward their degree requirements at RMC, subject to evaluation and approval.

Transfer applicants may submit the RMC application. There is no application fee. Simply create an account below and start your application.

Non-Degree-Seeking

• Non-degree-seeking students would like to take RMC classes without seeking a degree at Randolph-Macon College.
• Qualified students may participate in a semester or year-long exchange program through the International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP) or one of RMC’s exchange partner institutions, such as Kansai Gaidai University, Rikkyo University, Yonsei University, Wroxton College, or others.

Our fall 2025 application is now open! Prior to August 1, early applicants must apply via the RMC application linked below. You can choose between our Early Decision (binding) or Early Action (non-binding) application plans. A little extra time this summer = the perfect excuse to get a jump start on your future as a Yellow Jacket!

Applying for fall 2024? This August, we’ll welcome our largest incoming class ever. Please know that space may be limited for fall 2024 entry. We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.

Check Your Application Status:

All applicants to RMC (whether you applied through RMC's Application or the Common Application) can check your application status by creating a login through this site - our Application Management System.

Choose login information you will remember. RMC's Office of Admissions will be using your application status page to deliver admissions decisions and other important enrollment information such as financial aid awards.
